Top 5 Eats Close to Hyatt Place Miami Airport East
So, are you stuck near the Miami Airport, perhaps at the Hyatt Place Miami Airport East, and that, you know, your tummy is rumbling? It happens to everyone. Hotel food isn’t always the most thrilling option. Luckily, there’s tasty food just around the corner! I have explored around this area, and I have rounded up five spots where you can get some seriously satisfying grub.
1. Graziano’s Restaurant: Argentinian Delight
Graziano’s is first on the list because it’s one that’s close to my own heart (and stomach!). I just remember their empanadas – oh man! I have sampled pretty great empanadas in Miami, yet theirs really are at another level. The pastries, which, you know, often get ignored, have some serious, great, flaky goodness, so that Latin American Restaurant offers authentic dishes made with fantastic ingredients, if I remember correctly. It may take you to another place. They have an excellent wine list, and the atmosphere? Comfortable, inviting. That really does hit the spot when you’re looking to de-stress a bit. They are pretty good for larger crowds, too, from what I’ve seen.
2. La Carreta: A Cuban Classic
Alright, next up, let’s talk Cuban cuisine, alright? When you speak about Miami and local eats, it’s nearly impossible not to talk of it! And La Carreta is a great classic Cuban food spot. From what I understand, these guys really understand authentic taste. Their “ropa vieja” will definitely be an eating experience that your tummy will not want you to ever forget, it’s just stewed beef, right, yet the depth of flavors are awesome! What they cook seems that they bring years of expertise. So, order it along with some maduros (sweet plantains) so that, in this way, you will have an ideal picture, of course. It does give it a sweeter tinge.
3. Catch of the Day: Seafood Sensation
I would recommend, too, that if you are having a seafood mood and it’s something that tickles your fancy, then, the Catch of the Day is, you know, pretty unmissable for local seafood restaurants. It seems like people will swear by its great reputation for ultra-fresh, tasty dishes. The menu really is very awesome, ranging from grilled fish platters so that they have some fried shrimp baskets. It seems a little more casual, of course, if you just would like something on the go! Also, I really advise asking after daily catches! Who would want it to be any less than the freshest!
4. Versailles Restaurant: Miami Institution
I was driving, and I was really looking to grab some lunch that I could enjoy later in my hotel! Next up, it’s a spot that’s so Miami it basically defines Miami culture – Versailles Restaurant. Since, you know, the ’70s, this area really has served like a beacon for those that are in need of authentic best restaurants. Their Cuban sandwiches really are absolutely iconic; I hear tourists speak so much of it!. The atmosphere is very fun – busy and buzzy yet you feel like being right where the happenings are. I really find this kind of atmosphere suits eating when you feel hungry after a long plane trip!
5. Garcia’s Seafood Grille & Fish Market
Here we have number five; I found it the very last moment!. The Garcia’s Seafood Grille & Fish Market really serves up very solid dishes with, that, you know, some awesome views of the Miami River which it overlooks. How cool is that?! Their stone crabs are so incredible. They are nearly impossible to refuse and, anyway, also their daily catch options give those looking to be well fed the possibility for a pretty awesome range of what the sea’s produce will be, I’d have to say. As someone said dinner with a view? I absolutely can dig it!
