Alright, the Santa Monica Pier is, arguably, a landmark which juts out into the Pacific Ocean. It honestly has an amusement park, a vintage carousel, and maybe even some pretty cool street performers. So, it could be perfect for a day of family fun or that leisurely stroll at sunset, probably. Pro Tip: Okay so the pier can get crowded, and it can, so I tend to prefer visiting on a weekday morning to dodge what’s usually the biggest crowd. Then again that’s me.

So, the amusement park is really pretty fun, yes, and if you do get that shot to see those ocean views it really is hard to find something to match it, maybe, especially with your partner or spouse. 4. The Getty Center: Art and Architecture with a View, Obviously
Alright so the Getty Center isn’t only about art, so you might consider planning a full day there. That’s because the architecture is honestly, super stunning. The gardens, the view? You’re able to catch some pretty amazing scenes, seriously. Anyway you’re likely going to want to have your camera! Maybe it’s just a feeling but, every time I’m there I seem to discover new things! Combining that world-class art collection and the location make the experience something very, very few others can really touch, so I really believe that is true.

Basically explore those gardens and take your time doing so. Seriously they are worth at least an hour by themselves. And it isn’t only pretty flowers that are so much worth checking out either! Plan and check the current exibitions as well, it really seems to enrich that art even further, seriously. Well, this one can seem somewhat obvious. Universal Studios Hollywood might be that combo of that movie studio and that theme park.
