Adventuredome Theme Park: Indoor Thrills
First up, let’s talk about the Adventuredome. This indoor theme park located at Circus Circus is, actually, a total lifesaver, really. If the desert heat is, arguably, a little too intense, you can spend the whole day having fun in air-conditioned comfort. You get roller coasters like the Canyon Blaster, plus plenty of rides that are slightly gentler for younger children. Plus, there are classic carnival games. Basically, you’ll discover a bit of everything. And hey, that location within Circus Circus is perfect; you can check out their free circus acts too. Really, what’s not to like?
One little anecdote: My own kiddo was, honestly, scared of roller coasters, that. Then, finally, after watching other children have fun on the Canyon Blaster all day, my kid got encouraged to try it and totally changed attitude, you know! A lot of laughing, and wanting to ride it over and over. That’s honestly what family vacations should all be about.
High Roller Observation Wheel: Vegas From Above
If you want seriously amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip, you’ve just got to check out the High Roller Observation Wheel. The giant wheel at the LINQ Promenade is, well, pretty impressive, actually. Even little ones tend to have fun! The views, both during the day and when all those lights come on at night, are incredible. The enclosed cabins are, arguably, nice and comfortable. A full rotation takes half an hour. You get to sit back and take it all in. Just something to know, sometimes they have special themed rides, that. Depending on when you visit, that is, which might appeal to your children. Honestly, even if it’s not something special, it’s quite worth it.
Discovery Children’s Museum: Learning is Fun
When you’re looking for things which are more educational, while your kiddos think they’re only having fun, the Discovery Children’s Museum might be just the ticket. Seriously, there is so much to explore in the museum. It’s located a bit off the Strip. However, it is very worth the trip. You get three floors of interactive exhibits which cover science, art, culture, and even just general Nevada history, very. There is, you know, a mock grocery store and a construction zone for the small children. Slightly older children would get entertained in the science areas. This can be a great way to take a little time out of the more sensory overload of the Strip, frankly.
It’s, well, kind of lovely to see the excitement on your child’s face when they understand a little new thing. It’s that very “aha!” moment that causes everything else to just fall away, honestly. That really is one of the really worthwhile things for children here.
The Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel: A Unique Underwater Experience
Alright, are your children really obsessed with sea creatures? Okay, you should certainly visit the Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel. So, what’s kinda neat about this? Well, this 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium is filled with like thousands of tropical fish, sharks, and rays. Mermaids are a frequent thing too. Honestly! Free mermaid shows during certain times of the day will certainly entertain the children. Not only do they have aquariums, that’s an enormous Bass Pro Shops attached if anyone in your family are outdoorsy. The Aquarium has something a little unusual to enjoy, certainly.
Honestly, if you happen to have some water lovers like your own child is, you could probably easily hang around there all day and simply appreciate the gorgeous and strange aquatic life right in front of you, more or less. And truly, I find it extremely calming, that, but that is just me.
Pool Time: A Vegas Essential
Okay, no Vegas trip with children is truly full until you hit the pool! Really, many of the resorts on the Strip feature just amazing pool complexes to enjoy. Many of these are, in fact, tailored for the children to enjoy. Hotels similar to the Mandalay Bay have a great lazy river as well as a sandy beach area, honestly. Or the MGM Grand is, you know, equipped with several pools together with a lazy river. Most definitely there are something for the small ones as well as teens to enjoy, very. You should probably do your research. Confirm with your hotel what pools happen to be family-friendly. There may be ones that are solely adults-only, basically. Remember the sunscreen and be sure everyone stays hydrated, by the way! Pool days truly are one of the greatest moments in Vegas.
The last occasion my children traveled along, the only factor they spoke about previously to arriving in Vegas has been that hotel pool. It’s just pure fun, I believe, you. A little unwinding time and swimming is an ideal way to just feel as though you’re having a getaway, very. And the best factor is that the adults enjoy a lot too.
