You’ll find pieces from all over the globe and spanning various time periods; and it’s one of, kind of, those places where you could spend a whole day just wandering around, like your own private tour, in fact, there are rotating exhibits, as a matter of fact, so you might catch something new and interesting happening in April.

4. Hike or Bike in Red Rocks Park

Let’s say you are the outdoors-y type; Red Rocks Park is really just a short drive from Denver, okay? Yes, the amphitheater is, very famous, but the park itself is also very worth exploring. April’s a good time to hike or bike there because the weather’s not, actually, too hot yet, yet the trails are typically dry. The rock formations are also totally amazing; take your camera, because, like, honestly, you’ll want to capture the scenery, okay? Plus, just checking out the amphitheater itself, especially when it’s empty, is seriously awe-inspiring.

5. Attend the Denver Film Festival (if it falls in April)

I think that depending on the year, the Denver Film Festival actually happens partly in April, right? If it does, so you should check it out. It’s, very, that unique opportunity to see independent and international films, right?, very often with the filmmakers themselves in attendance; and after you have watched the film it can be one of, kind of, a special event. I would also keep in mind it’s a great way to immerse yourself in film culture and maybe discover your next favorite movie, it’s actually that fun.
