It makes the city incredibly walkable. Fewer tourists than in summer, so you may be that the crowds are smaller. Also the hotel rates tend to drop a little, making it easier on your wallet. That said, make sure you pack a light jacket for those cooler evenings.

Is that something happening during the fall? Very arguably, visiting a local pumpkin patch can be just a wonderful way to enjoy the season and get some very lovely fall-themed photos. Basically, the combo of stunning scenery and moderate temperatures can really create a relaxing and very memorable visit. In this way, autumn in Chicago gives an unique flavor. So it will become a very special experience.

Winter: A Snowy Spectacle (for the Hardy)

Let me just say that winter in Chicago isn’t for the faint of heart. But arguably, for those who embrace the cold, it can be an enchanting time to visit. Expect temperatures to be really chilly, often dipping below freezing, and of course, there is snow – sometimes a lot of it. Despite this, is that the Christkindlmarket opening in November I see? The smell of cinnamon and pine and perhaps a little Christmas shopping.
