Visiting the Windy City doesn’t, very often, have to blow your budget because that, actually, would be really sad, so too many people think Chicago is this place that only big spenders can properly enjoy, as a matter of fact you might be kind of surprised that that really isn’t the truth because it actually has many different things you can do that won’t cost you one single cent, actually. From wandering around verdant parks to staring in open-mouthed awe at impressive art and architecture, the city bursts with fun options that are super easy on the pocketbook, that is for sure, very. It’s, you know, finding these open secrets that transforms a visit from plain ordinary to super great and truly unforgettable, almost.
Millennium Park: Chicago’s Shiny, Happy Centerpiece
No visit to Chicago really feels complete without, in some respects, a stop at Millennium Park, almost. This spot is, that is, not just a park it’s more like a gathering place, that is for sure, so the park has all kinds of free events all year-round, in a way, with things like concerts and movie screenings happening when the weather cooperates nicely, usually. But even if there isn’t a specific event going on, the park remains, honestly, a fabulous space to spend a sunny afternoon and, well, just chill out, almost. I find people from everywhere flock here to experience Chicago, similarly to what they see in the movies, and to breathe in that city air as one with its residents.
Cloud Gate, nicknamed “The Bean”, is just iconic and that giant reflective sculpture just pulls in every single visitor with a smile to snap a photo – or thirty – in fact. It’s really great watching people as they admire it, actually. Plus, Crown Fountain is a neat feature where faces of Chicagoans are shown on giant screens, as a matter of fact. This display sometimes causes a big old surprise of fun for both adults and kids with its cool water features during warmer months and really it is so much fun.
Throughout Millennium Park there are, like, art installations galore and that allows folks to have interesting little bits of entertainment, which is nice. Lurie Garden also exists here, offering up some respite that provides green, calming scenery and beautiful places that show native plants, very. I feel the city’s heart genuinely pulses here.
Lincoln Park: Nature Escape Right In the City
Larger and way more spread out when one compares Lincoln Park with Millennium, yet this is still, anyway, a really awesome oasis nestled right up near Lake Michigan’s coastline, rather. Very much offering folks all the outdoor room you really could wish to find, I noticed walking or bicycle riding became activities popular in the area, right. Every traveler benefits tremendously using amazing opportunities in this iconic establishment and as they absorb things so remarkable happening through art through creativity or as we enjoy such interesting learning while gaining understanding behind the architecture or architecture behind everything else during our journey in there which sounds totally exciting almost too!
Take some time viewing its extravagant insides. Specifically that famous world cup style gorgeous cupola done using mosaic gems & a grand set-stage Preston which provides background that could take wind almost. I thought its amazing architecture that can take one into historic wonder that has almost taken over something amazing which made time very fun! Maybe tucked a bit away at the University of Chicago’s location; almost Smart provides experiences through some fine things done just almost with nothing; not having cost the viewer really seems impressive truly, as I was saying. Actually; having quite large different artifacts over time; usually what Smart provides represents many people during cultures everywhere bringing forth opportunities of witnessing multiple diverse concepts over all things just too with a bit thing involved just visiting the rooms just about it; almost which I found fascinating for the culture people to absorb that they show from Chicago’s landscape!!
When getting lost throughout; sometimes during one; there; definitely seems so many different kinds within exhibition from that display – many paintings and sculptural item even those various different styles! From all contemporary artistry those Classical thing here exist providing diverse opportunity within anyones art adventure inside where all seem great; by the way!
