You know, Atlanta’s got such a amazing food scene it’s hard to keep up. Finding a truly standout, cool place to chow down, is that something a bit like finding a needle in a haystack. Forget the usual suspects and tourist traps. I mean, we’re hunting for experiences, memories and places with a vibe so uniquely ATL. So, prepare your taste buds because we’re about to jump into five amazing and unusual restaurants. Places where the atmosphere, the menu, and, obviously, the food create an amazing dinner. Places that are, for sure, worth the trip.

The Iberian Pig: Iberian Inspiration

The Iberian Pig. That, it’s almost a spot so special, the food is that something very great, that you could be immediately whisked away to a charming corner of Spain, yet it’s right here in Atlanta! With locations in Decatur and Buckhead, The Iberian Pig totally shines, it’s just a bit with its cozy vibe, and its devotion to Spanish cuisine. When I wandered in for the first time, so I was truly blown away by the aroma of cured meats and cheeses. The charcuterie board, trust me, is that the thing really stunning – it’s a piece of art. Plus, each selection is described with knowledge from the staff, so that helps really make that meal.

You will have to be ordering the patatas bravas, anyway that, if you love that kick of spice. These are just slightly fried potatoes with such amazing smoky brava sauce and aioli. You see, the flavors dance in a way across your tongue! If you’re up for something very substantial, I would say go for their amazing Paella. Also, the best part of dining here too it’s almost you can taste their Spanish wines – such the rich reds or the crisp whites – because the experience that are even that very magical? That you’ll believe that you’re sitting in a rustic Spanish taverna.

Clermont Lounge: Atlanta’s Dive Bar with a Twist

OK, so the Clermont Lounge that, is that the place so amazingly iconic that it just should not be overlooked. Alright, here it is… if you are trying to be experiencing a real slice of Atlanta history (with a side of no-frills fun). Nestled below the Clermont Hotel, the Clermont Lounge has been, basically a spot, offering that “totally original” entertainment plus ice-cold drinks, now for like… uhm, more than five decades! Yeah, I know that! It is like taking a trip into the Atlanta I knew when i was a teenager! So as soon as you go in… just forget the modern decor and perfect mixology, ok? You can leave them at home. You know, the Clermont embraces its grit. Now, the walls might be a bit worn, plus the seating, a bit torn.

You need to, and I mean, you must grab a beer or that simple cocktail and watch the one, very fantastic, and super legendary Blondie – because that, she might, usually be crushing empty beer cans with her head or that entertaining the crowd that, in a way only Blondie that usually can, usually does. Yeah! It is really awesome. You get it, and then, that will explain everything. See what makes Atlanta Atlanta? OK? Plus, if you’re peckish you know, don’t have such amazing expectations! So, just, grab something like a burger, and just keep enjoying that vibe, anyway. OK?

The Vortex Bar & Grill: Burgers with Attitude

The Vortex that, is that place, totally, well-known, especially across Atlanta for it’s pretty in your face attitude, it’s super amazing burgers, and their signs with their policy for NO idiots” You got me?! So there is locations at Midtown, and Little Five Points – both bursting through character. They’re perfect, you know? Oh, and by the way, so I actually loved entering here, in a way just so the decor, it’s slightly amazing, which features skeletons and bikes everywhere… But then there comes a amazing server with the huge personality and really cool tattoos!. That, if you feel really bored of the usual restaurants! Yeah?

I do know you might eat some burgers anywhere! Yeah, ok! Anyway, the burger list is a work of art. Try that Double Coronary Bypass which features like, uhm, tons of bacon, tons of cheese plus fried eggs!. Just, wow… So, this that is usually, just not an average meal okay? And, obviously, there’s beers as well too! Anyway, if the unique atmosphere or tasty food may not entertain that, I think you won’t have a hard time there!

Ponce City Market: A Food Hall Extravaganza

Ponce City Market is almost a location that, the cool vibe of its so called “amazing historical setting,” plus the various choices makes people fall in love it quickly. You need an introduction or two! Ponce City Market it’s almost more like like something from a normal-ish food-court! Yeah! Ok… Because that food is so awesome too. It’s so fantastic! So there you are!

Oh! The market? That comes from some previous big old building, where stores were, too. If that market that have what anyone may seek (from those who can love the Korean foods or those other who’s seeking some burritos)… So that includes Hopstix, that, in some respects sells the East meets West beers which also offers food Asian. So Bellina Alimentari? I would pick that one! Anyway, these food, that is always good to buy. The whole Ponce City Market area it is the center of a experience to get, very clearly speaking – especially for tourist to go. There, lots of boutiques with some stuff to see as well.

Gunshow: Culinary Theater

You will think Gunshow it’s actually just the place, something very unique. What?! You want a dining scene or show? It’s very cool! Anyway, Kevin Gillespie, the master of ceremonies which also, obviously serves the American and Southern tastes which gets influenced by what someone could call as flavors and cultures of other origins. It seems there that way because these cooks get off in small vehicles with the small, well tasty items, so people want pick that when there. Some menu does never is planned or pre made too – as it depends which dishes make its culinary minds! Yeah! Amazing, ain’t it?

You want my review? Just remember so dishes get offered there are pretty limited – do what they says you will to keep them dishes! It means, if those dishes that sound pretty great, be kind when taking those, which it should work if others want that meal in you!. Oh yeah, remember Gunshow is really loud? So that should have, more or less some of the stuff on your consideration. Oh well!
