Description:

 

     Undoubtedly another much preferred noodle soup among the Chinese, the pork noodle really lives up to its reputation, almost available at all hawker centers. The main ingredients in it include pork balls, pork slices, also the inner parts like intestine, liver and kidney. All of these succulent pieces enhance the soup into a sweet flavorful taste, while the leafy vegetables and spring onions balance out the meaty taste, most will include “Tung Choy” (a kind of Chinese pickled vegetables) into the cooking because it gives an extra savor to the soup.

    One can opt for yellow noodle, “Hor Fun”, vermicelli and any type of noodle as long as the vendor has it, depending on your preference. Be sure to dip in the pork pieces into the soy sauce of bird’s eye chili (cili padi) in order to have that zesty experience, provided you are acceptable to spiciness.
