Originated from Ipoh, Perak, the clear broth of chicken (some may use prawn broth alternatively) for this dish enhances its taste to a subtle sweetness which complements the smooth Hor Fun (flat rice noodles normally in smaller size comparable to those rice noodles used in Char Kway Teow).
The dish presentation and color may not look attractive enough due to its plain looking soup however the flavor makes up to quite a decent cuisine which should not be missed. Ipoh Hor Fun which is quite versatile not only can be found in hawker stalls, also available in higher class dining restaurants.
